From our founder's happy home to yours,
in loving memory of Payton (1995 - 2012).

Over 25 years ago, I met the love of my life: my first cat, Payton. Though she suffered from chronic medical problems, and caring for her could be difficult at times, she gave me a passion for animals in need of a loving home and taught me the profound joys of animal companionship.


Inspired by her, I expanded my awareness of the high volume of stray cats and kittens in the New Jersey and New York areas. When I began to take action in 2012, I was able to save over 100 cats. 


This success led me to start my own rescue organization, Happy Homes, in Payton's honor. Since then, Happy Homes has saved thousands of animals. 


I invite you to find room in your heart and your home, as I did, to change a life and be changed.
